Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using VidBonk, you confirm that you can form a binding contract, that you are old enough to use the service under the laws of your country, and that you will follow these Terms and all applicable laws. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. The service

VidBonk provides web-based tools that help you look up and analyze public YouTube videos and channels, and generate text such as channel descriptions. Some tools are free to use, and some require an account or credits. We may add, change, or remove tools at any time.

3. Accounts

Some features require you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. The information we collect and how we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

4. Credits

Certain tools use credits. New accounts may receive a starter amount of free credits. Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable. We may change how many credits a tool costs or how credits work. If a paid action fails because of a clear error on our side, we will restore the credits used.

To keep the service fair, we may limit how often you can use a tool, and we may decline to grant free credits to accounts that appear to abuse the system, such as repeatedly deleting and recreating an account to claim the starter credits again.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights while using the service
• Disrupt, overload, or try to gain unauthorized access to the service or its systems
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to access the tools beyond normal use
• Get around rate limits, credit limits, or other technical controls
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the service except where the law allows
• Use the service to harass, deceive, or harm others, or to collect data about people without a lawful basis

You are responsible for how you use the data the tools return, including following YouTube's terms and any applicable privacy and marketing laws.

6. YouTube and third parties

Our tools use the YouTube Data API and show public information about videos and channels. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google. By using these features you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The accuracy and availability of public data depend on YouTube, and we do not control it.

7. AI-generated content

Some tools generate text using AI. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your needs, and similar output may be produced for other users. You are responsible for reviewing and editing any generated content before you use it, and for making sure it is accurate and appropriate. We make no promise that generated content is original or fit for a particular purpose.

8. Intellectual property

The service, including its design, text, and software, is owned by VidBonk and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms. You keep ownership of the input you provide. Public YouTube data shown in the tools belongs to its respective owners.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service, and we may set limits on usage, at any time and without notice.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you break these Terms, misuse the service, or create risk or legal exposure for us or others. When your account ends, your right to use the service stops, and the sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service or any data or content will be accurate, reliable, or error-free. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, VidBonk will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VidBonk harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your use of the service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where VidBonk operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first, so please contact us before taking any other action.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we will provide a clearer notice. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
